THE CLIENT: NEW YORK REDBULLS
THE BRIEF
To scout and identify a talent pool and consult on the development and production of a groundbreaking freestyle soccer battle event called Futbol de Calle.
THE EXECUTION
NRG planned and executed an awareness campaign and managed a network of soccer scouts in New York to identify freestyle soccer players and secure their participation through established relationships, and effective communication with a very underground market group. Working very closely with the New York Red Bulls, NRG provided proprietary event model and budget information, as well as consulted on the set-up, design, location, entertainment, and timing of the Futbol de Calle event.
THE RESULT
Identification of over 100 freestyle soccer players in the New York Metro area, 3 tryout events, and the development and production of a first of its kind freestyle soccer event: Futbol de Calle, which drew over 200 members of the media, and introduced the world to Freestyle soccer-Red Bull style and garnered over 1,000,000 impressions in the US alone.
