Identifying undiscovered youth soccer players and connecting them with clubs.

THE BRIEF

To create a unique program that allows Red Bull to connect with the U.S. Youth Soccer Market in an authentic and meaningful manner. The goal was to identify and support untapped youth talent, removing the traditional pay-to-play barriers of the sport offering them the opportunity to further their ability in soccer.

THE EXECUTION

NRG created, produced, and managed Red Bull Bullieve, a youth soccer program that identified top undiscovered youth players.

Once scouted, players were invited to ID camps to showcase their ability to top soccer clubs and receive professional level training from recognized soccer coaches.

THE RESULT

2 Camps were executed, 1 in New York, 1 in Chicago.

125 youth soccer players were discovered, and received top level training and exposure to top youth clubs-at no cost to the players. Bullieve generated a combined 1,104,896 in-person and media impressions.

The program was acclaimed by MLS teams and coaches involved as being one of the most useful and relevant programs ever seen in soccer.
