THE BRIEF

Stage TV production and create content and format for IMG Media's new made for TV series, Battle of the Gridiron Stars, featuring players from the National Football League and broadcasted on ESPN.

THE EXECUTION

Based at Disney World, the NRG crew brought together all of the necessary components, staff and vendors required to stage the production. Working at nine different locations within the park, NRG coordinated competition rules + format, onsite branding, onsite layouts, props + equipment, vendors, and staffing.

THE RESULT

NRG created a collection of 24 separate event competitions which pitted stars from the AFC against the NFC. Staged at Disney's Wide World of Sports, Battle of the Gridiron Stars generated success on several fronts, with both respectable TV ratings and widespread popularity amongst NFL players. The content was aired in (6) 1 hour shows and featured stars such as Peyton Manning, Terrell Owens, and Chad Johnson.

NRG developed the creative content for the series, conceiving the competition format and designing the venues, as well as handled every aspect of onsite production, from staging set up and construction to staffing and event staging during filming.
