ABBREVIATED LIFE HISTORY:

Born in a small town of 12,000 in Scotland. Won the Egg and Spoon race in elementary school. Had to earn everything else in life. Traveled Europe with a backpack. Slept through a lightning storm in the Alps. Didn't really sleep. Found that you can survive on bread, camembert and wine. Earned a Masters Degree in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde. Trained to be an architect. Managed the marketing department for an electronics company. Escaped to Vail to become a full-time ski bum. Stumbled into Jeep King of the Mountain. Discovered a career with Eclipse Television LLC. Skied with World Cup DH Champions Luc Alphand and Jen Luc Cretier at Jackson Hole. Survived the skull rapid on the Colorado River in Utah. Drove down Chamonix Road in Vail to Interstate 70, turned right and ended up in LA. Got bitten by riding a wave. Found surfing to be a rival to skiing as the worlds best pastime. Realized the lifelong dream of creating a company based on the premise of taking great ideas and turning them into exceptional events. With $100 in the bank, created a successful creative brand activation agency founded on excellence that involved and empowered all of the staff.

SIMPLE LIFE PLEASURES:

Skiing fresh powder. Kayaking and rafting. Mountain biking great summer trails. Being around people with personality and passion. Cooking. Trying new kinds of food; Indian, Italian, Thai, French, BBQ, whatever strikes the mood. Designing a concept on paper and watching it become a reality. R.E.M. Sigur Ros. Snow Patrol. Johnny Cash. Vanilla Sky. Riding Giants. Discovery Channel. NatGeo. History Channel. Fuel TV. Singing in shower. Living with conviction and courage. Playing Guitar.
